Our Ministry to God: By worshiping God in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24)
Our Ministry to Believers: By loving one another and growing in Christlike maturity (John 13:35; Ephesians, 4:14-15)
Our Ministry to the World: By Expanding the Kingdom of God and being salt and light (Matthew 5:13-14; Matthew 28:18-20)
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF COUNTRY ESTATES BAPTIST CHURCH?
A Church is a body of believers in Jesus Christ who have publicly expressed their commitment through Baptism. Membership is contingent upon being a Christian and being baptized by immersion. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior but have yet to follow Him in Believer’s Baptism and wish to be baptized, please come down the aisle during the invitation at the conclusion of either worship service and the Pastor will guide you.
If you are a member of a Church of like faith and practice and you know that God is leading you to be a part of this Community of Faith, you are invited to join the Pastor during the invitation. If you are unsure, please fill out the Contact Form on the Contact page and indicate that you are interested in joining this Church, and the pastor will call on you.
OUR MINISTRIES:
YOUTH MINISTRY
The ages for our ministry are Jr High through College. We are dedicated to connecting young men and women to Jesus and is committed to proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. We strive to disciple the young people into Christian maturity and, additionally, to develop them into fully participating members within God’s family. We disciple young men and women to honor Jesus Christ while at home, at school, and in all aspects of their life, while mentoring them to live a life that is Holy and acceptable to unto God. (Romans 12:1)
The format for our Youth Ministry follows the model for the New Testament given in the book of Acts:
” 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42 (ESV)
· Youth Bible study for Jr. High and High School Students, takes place every Sunday Morning during the Sunday School hour.
·One-on-one discipleship, mentoring each young person and encouraging them to bear each other’s burdens to fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
With this said, Our philosophy of ministry is to never take the place of the parents or family, instead to walk along side the family. To equip and disciple both as directed in the scriptures. Youth at Country Estates is not separate form the church body, rather it is all inclusive.

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
The two-fold mission of Women’s Ministries of Country Estates Southern Baptist church is:
1) Connecting Women to Christ through Bible Studies
2) Creating opportunities for Christian Women’s Fellowship for women of the church, which also includes women in the community. Bible Study opportunities for Women include ongoing Thursday morning Ladies’ Bible Studies with the pastor, as well as topical fellowship studies held twice annually in the fall and spring. Also, when there is not a study, the women pray together for the church, community, and nation. Women’s Ministries Fellowships include the annual Ladies’ Christmas Party. Women’s Ministries at Country Estates is connected to and works alongside all ministries of the church including discipleship and missions.
MEN’S MINISTRIES
We have a Men’s Bible Study studying the Bible, with Pastor Mike leading. Please contact the church office to inquire about the current study. We have a monthly men’s prayer and fellowship breakfast at a local restaurant. You can find information on the next one on the Events Page and in the Announcements. Our theme is becoming a man who God uses. Our men are active in leading the church and families in following Christ in all areas in the church and community.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
In addition to age-graded Sunday School classes, we offer Children’s Church during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service geared to preschool through 3rd grade. Children are a very important part of our ministry because we happen to have a lot of them. The Pastor does a children’s sermon for the kids and parents.
SUNDAY SCHOOL AND ADULT BIBLE STUDY
We have classes for all ages of children including teens and adult classes for women, younger couples, older couples and singles. Sunday School and Adult Bible Study begins each Sunday after the fellowship time at 8:45 a.m. A new member’s class is held quarterly and is available for anyone who has an interest in joining or who has joined the church in the last year.
DISCIPLESHIP
We have active discipleship opportunities offered throughout the year. Discipleship classes will be listed on the events page. If you are interested in a specific class, indicate your interest by filling out the contact form on the contact page.
MISSIONS
Country Estates is a great commission church. We currently sponsor two mission churches in the area and give liberally to the quarterly missions offerings such as Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong. Many mission’s opportunities will come up for those who believe that obedience includes being an On Mission person and Church. We are a member of the International Mission Board Global Priority Network.
